Junie found her happily ever after with a couple looking for another dog to love. They were wanting a smaller, mature dog to be a good companion for their current dog.  Junie ticked off all the boxes of what they were looking for and the dogs got along nicely.  We are so happy for Junie  
Kirby is so happy to tell you that he found his perfect forever home with a PDR alum family of Josephine the Maltese.  They were looking to add a second dog to the home and fell in love with Kirby and we all knew that this would be his perfect match.  Kirby loves his sister and she is showing him the ropes in his new home and yard…which includes squirrel patrol!!  Kirby is loved by all the family and you can follow his and Josie’s adventures on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/lifeofqueenjosephine/
Lollipop got to spend the holidays in a loving forever home with a couple who adore her.  She is settling in well and is quite happy. Her name is Molly now. 
Spencer is very happy to announce that he got the best Christmas present ever, a forever family!!  Spencer the Poodle went to join a lovely woman and her 2 Schnauzers who knew they had room for a 3rd little dog to love.  Spencer quite enjoys his sister’s and they are great role models for him in confidence and all things dog life. He is very loved and settling in well.
Fallon found her best fit with a woman who was missing the companionship and sense of security that having a dog brings to the home.  Her prior dog passed in the summer and she was finding the house quiet and her daily walks lonely.   She saw Fallon posted for adoption and knew that this was the dog for her!! Fallon totally agreed!  Fallon now shares her life in a beautiful community right on a lake and has a mom who adores her.   This stunning beauty of a dog will surely be the talk of the neighborhood.
Fitzroy is a darling Westie who we knew we had the perfect home for.  We had a couple who had a prior Westie and were looking for a dog to love again.   They had the exact family and home that we were looking for for Fitzroy and when they learned about him and eventually met him it was a total love match.  Fitzroy is called Dougal now and is doing great!
Zorro found his happily ever after with a couple who had a Corgi mix before and were looking for a dog to love.  When they saw Zorro posted this Corgi loving couple knew that they had found their dog!  They could offer Zorro the home and family we were looking for for him, and he could offer them the love, fun and companionship of a great dog.  It was a perfect match!  Zorro is called Berkeley now.
Enzo is a darling little ShihTzu who came to us from a city pound as an unclaimed stray.  We noticed right after intake that this little guy had a lot of trouble urinating and it would only come out in dribbles and was probably the reason he was abandoned. Enzo had a significant blockage of this urethra. After two critical surgeries, we are very happy to say that Enzo is now doing fantastic and is a loved family member.
Fonzie was the perfect pick for a couple who were looking for a sweet natured, mature, small dog to be a calm companion for their senior dog.   They knew what they needed to be a great fit and Fonzie ticked all the boxes.  We are very happy to say that he is settling in well and is a great little companion for his new sibling who was really missing not having a buddy.   We are happy for them both!
Maxine found her family in Kitchener where she gets to be happy and loved and a cherished family pet.  She found a family of hound lovers who knew when they met her that this was their dog!  She is called Daphne now and is settling in wel
Dwight found his happily ever after with a lovely couple who adore hounds and knew that this sweet, goofy boy would be the perfect fit for their family.  Dwight has settled right in and is enjoying long walks, trips to the farm and visiting the family horses.
Colter found his happily ever after with a family who love Cockapoos and were looking to add another dog to the family.  They saw Colters posting and knew that he would be a great fit for their home.    Colter is doing great and his family loves him.
Macaroni found his forever home with a couple who were looking for their 1st dog together.   They both grew up with Golden and Lab Retrievers and love those breeds so Mac being a mix of both was perfect for them.   Mac has settled in nicely and is loving his new home and family.
Piccola is very happily adopted and will be staying in the PDR family!! One of our longtime volunteers/fosters was looking for a forever dog and was very interested in Piccola when we got her into care.  When she was posted and she learned more about her our PDR team member knew that this was the dog she was waiting for and applied right away.  It was a great fit all around and Piccola gets to ring in the new year with a forever family!  She is named Leiki now and is very loved by her mom
Carter found his happily ever after with a family who were looking for a doodle pup to love and came across Carter for adoption.  They knew that they could offer Carter the home and family he needed, and they had a mature dog in the home that would be a good role model for him as he settled in.  Carter is named Louie now and is doing great and is really loved 
We are happy to announce that Dawson has found his forever home!  He is now living with a young couple who were looking for their first pup together. They were wanting a mid sized, active, male puppy and when they came across Dawson’s adoption posting knew that they had found their pup!  Dawson agreed and was very happy to join his new family.  Dawson is doing great in his new home and is loving his big backyard and exploring his neighborhood on his walks.
Kiba has happily joined his new family!  He was adopted by a young couple who had always had giant breed dogs but were looking for a big change this time around, wanting a small dog.  They knew that they were after a dog that was active, smart, and could accompany then on hikes and adventures, but was much more portable than the big dogs they had prior. Kiba is settling in really well and is showing his new family that little dogs can do everything the big dogs can do!  He is greatly loved and is entertaining his family daily
Kova found her forever home with a lovely couple who were the perfect fit for this sweet puppy.  Kova is doing great in her new home and has a best friend in the dog next door!
Gabbi is happy to announce that she found a wonderful home with a couple who were looking for a mid sized dog to love. They came across Gabbit’s profile and were drawn to her.  When they met her we all knew that this was meant to be!  Gabbi took to them well and we knew that they would be a great match for her.  Gabbi is named Maggie now and is settling in really well.  Her family loves her.
Astra found her happily ever after who were looking for a medium sized pup to join their family.  Having a mature small dog who would be a good role model to help a puppy adjust, they wanted a pup that would be respectful of him and not too overwhelming. Astra was the perfect fit.  She has settled in beautifully and has been renamed Ashley. 
Cosmic is happy to announce that he was adopted and is greatly loved in his new family! He is named Teddy now and is having a blast in his new home and yard and loving all the toys and fun places he gets to go to. His family says his having vision in only one eye doesn’t slow him down in the slightest.  He makes them smile and laugh every day with his antics
Halo was adopted by a couple looking for a 2nd dog to love.  They had the quiet home well suited for Halo, and we knew she would do well with another little dog in the home so this was a great fit for her.  She is settling in and getting used to her new home and surroundings.  She is named Clover now and is very loved.
Kingsley found the perfect family of CKC Spaniel lovers!  They knew the breed well having had a prior dog and were looking for that extra special love you get from Cavis again.  They came to meet Kingsley at an adoption event and it was definitely a love at first sight moment for both the family and for Kingsley.  They already had an application in for him and he was adopted a later that week.  We are very happy to report that Kingsley is doing great in his forever home and he is dearly loved
Lennon, now called Lenny, was adopted to a family who love the doodles and were looking for a 2nd dog to join their family.   They know the breed mix well and were fully prepared for the energy and grooming requirements of this breed.   Lenny has a dog sibling to learn off of and be a great companion. He is doing well and his family loves him
Nadja is very happy in her forever home! Her family had a couple other boy dogs and knew that they had room in their hearts and home to welcome a girl dog to the pack. Nadja caught their eye and after learning more about her they knew that she could be the right fit for their family.  Nadja is very dog friendly so it was no surprise that she got along well with her doggie brothers and is building a strong bond with them now that she has been adopted. Nadja is doing great and her family loves her!
Nimbus found himself a great family where he is loved!  He is settling in well and learning a lot in his new home.  He is a smart boy and takes to training well so his family is keeping him busy learning new things.  
Parsley found his perfect fit with a woman who was looking for a dog of her own.  She was very patient, and knew she wanted to adopt a rescue dog.  She saw his adoption posting and knew that this was a good fit for her!  We were so happy to make this match and we are all assured that the wait was worth it.  Parsley and his mom are very happy and going great together.   
Tita found herself a great new family with an active couple who were looking to adopt a puppy.  Lovers of Retrievers they were thrilled to find Tita posted for adoption. The meet went great and everyone knew that this was Tita’s perfect fit.  Even the cat in the home is coming around to his new puppy sibling and Tita of course thinks that the cat is an awesome new bestie who should want to play with her all the time!  Tita is named Georgia now and she is very loved by her family
Tiny Tim is a little Yorkie X puppy who joined our rescue on Christmas Eve, a discard from a puppy mill because he had a leg deformity.  It was determined that his leg needed to be amputated as the way it was deformed was throwing off his balance and was getting in his way.   He came through the surgery really well and all through his foster time and recovery his foster family fell more and more in love with this sweet puppy.   Once he was recovered to no ones surprise his foster family adopted him!! We are very happy to celebrate this “foster fail” with them and know that Tiny Tim is in for a great life of being loved and cared.  He is full speed ahead now, very happily a tri pod!
Sheena found her adoptive home with a woman who loves Westies and knew she had the quiet, calm home that timid Sheena needed.  Knowing the breed well she was a great fit for Sheena and we are happy to say that Sheena is settling in nicely.
 
Screech found his happily ever after with a family who were ready for a doodle pup after mourning the passing of a prior beloved doodle.  Loving the breed mix they knew they were wanting that again and were happy to find Screech’s adoption posting.   Screech is settling in well to his forever home and is loved by his family. He is called Oakely now
Maple the Moyen Poodle is a very lucky dog first to be saved from the puppy mill industry and then to be adopted by her foster family!!!  They were really taken by this lovely dog and decided that she was home to stay!   We celebrate this “foster fail” with her family as we know she got the greatest family and home!!
Plum found her ideal fit with a family who live rurally and are active in dog training and dog sports.  They love dogs and knew that they had a spot in their hearts and home for a little terrier.  Having 2 more independent dogs they were looking for a “velcro dog” and loved that Plum wants to be with her people all the time.  Plum is settling in really well and is very happy 
Parsley found his perfect fit with a woman who was looking for a dog of her own.  She was very patient, and knew she wanted to adopt a rescue dog. With Parsley she saw his adoption posting and knew that this was a good fit for her.  We were so happy to make this match and we are all assured that the wait was worth it.  Parsley and his mom are very happy and going great together.   
Sabrina was lucky enough to be adopted to her fosters parents so she stayed in the family!! They were looking for another dog and got to know Sabrina through visiting. Sabrina and their dog got along well and she was a great fit for them. She is called Eva now and is very loved
Miss Marple found her happily ever after with a lovely couple who were looking for a little dog to love. Miss Marple was a great fit for them and she really took to them at the meeting.   She is called Missy now and is settling in well!
Hennessey was adopted by a great couple who came to meet her at a public event and it was love at first sight.  Hennessey felt the same and we all knew that this was a great potential family for her.  Spaniel lovers they were looking for a sweet little spaniel to love and when they learned of Hennessey knew she was meant to be their dog.  Hennessey is called Penny now.  She is living her very best life and is greatly loved
 
We are thrilled to announce that Caleb has a loving family of his very own!!!  When we finally got that great application for him, and it was from a PDR alum family, of our dearest Beulah the Bloodhound from years past who sadly passed after a battle with cancer, and her family needed time to mourn her and heal from her loss. When they were ready to love a dog again, these hound lovers found Caleb, and it was meant to be. Fate sometimes plays a hand in rescue and this was definitely fate at play. Caleb is named Gus now. He has been in his forever home just over a month now and is very loved and happy. 
Kermit found himself a wonderful family to call his very own.  Kermit has happily joined the home of a lovely couple and their 2 cats.  He is settling in nicely and impressing his family with his intelligence and trainability!  Nothing we didnt know! This young dog is super smart which is why we waited for a family very committed to advanced training classes for him.  Kermit is called Keioko now and is very loved
Lillian found her perfect forever home where she has people who love her and a dog sibling to show her the ropes.   She is settling in great and is a very happy puppy.  She starts her training classes this week and we know she will be head of the class!!Lilkian is named Rue now and is a much loved little dog
Texas has been adopted to a couple in Kitchener who were looking for a great dog to love.  They knew that they could offer Texas the home he needed and were eager to adopt this special dog.   Nicely as they lived locally they were able to complete his physio treatments with our physio vet team which was great!   Texas is a happy boy in his new home 
Tamara found her happily ever after with a woman who was looking to love a little dog and found Tamara’s adoption post.  She felt that Tammy would be the perfect fit for her and Tammy agreed!! Tamara was adopted and settled in really well.  She is called Heidi now
Our gentle giant Mrs Potts is very happy to announce that she has a loving forever home! She shares her home with a Pug sibling and her new human parents.  Mrs Potts has settled in really well and is bringing a lot of love to her family,.  She is called Harriet now and her family is so happy with her
Leroy found a Bulldog loving family to call his very own!  He was very happily adopted by a family who love the Bulldog breed and were searching for another snorting, wrinkly sweetie to love.  It was love at first sight when they met him and an adoption followed soon after.  We are happy to say that he has settled in really well and his family adores him
Kinsley found herself a loving family who were looking for a nice little dog to love.  She has settled in really well and her family adores her!!
Kiki met her perfect match with a woman who loves spaniels and was looking to love a spaniel again.  She met Kiki and it was a love match!  Kiki is settling in well and lives by a lake so gets to go exploring with her mom on the beach which is a new experience for her and she loves it
Kai is very happy to announce that he found a great forever home and has an awesome dog sibling too!! Kai is called Kairos now and he is doing well and his family adores him!!
Sedgwick was so happy to have found a wonderful, loving forever family.  She was the perfect fit for a couple looking for a sweet little dog. She is called Willow now and is very loved
Artemus found his forever home with a family looking for a mid sized, active dog to love.  They met Artemus and it was a  love match. Arty is very happy in his forever home and keeps his family entertained 
Ashley very quickly found her most perfect forever home right here in the PDR family and we couldnt be happier. A PDR team member sadly was dogless having lost both her senior dogs in the past year.She and her husband were in no rush to get another dog but knew that “their dog” would come. When they met, it confirmed that this tiny little Sheltie was meant to be theirs, and they had the exact home and family that we were looking for for this timid mill dog.  Ashley is called Abbey now, she is settling in well.
Poppet found her perfect forever home with a couple who were looking for a small dog to love again after the passing of a beloved little dog. They had a senior dog and a young dog already in the home and were hoping for a younger dog to be a good playmate and companion to their younger dog. Poppet loves other dogs and we were wanting a home for her with another dog as this was the best for her so this was a great fit.  Poppet took to her new siblings right away and is great friends with both of them.  She has the same name, but now spelled Pawpet.  She has settled right in and is living her very best life!!
Tegan was adopted to a loving couple who were looking for a sweet Sheltie to call their own.   They had the perfect, quiet home for shy Tegan.  Tegan is loving her walks in her new neighborhood and is settling in well.  
Irene our lovely Cocker who came to us with a litany of medical concerns and cost us a small fortune has a very happy ending to her rescue story!!! She has found a loving forever home with a Cocker loving couple who were very happy to welcome this super sweet dog into their home and give her the best life.   They knew that they could manage Irene’s care and ensure she has a happy and healthy life. She is named Stella now and is doing great!   We are thrilled!  
Titan found his happily ever after with PDR alum family. They were looking to add a second dog to their home and felt that Titan would be a great fit with their dog Olive.  We knew that this family would offer Titan a wonderful life and were happy to adopt him to them. Ziggy has found a great forever home with a woman who was looking for a cockapoo and knew that she could manage a dog with a seizure history and take care of her needs. Ziggy is doing well in her home, and has been named Mieka.  We are very happy to say that she hasn’t had a seizure in the 2mths she has been adopted so her medication is working well!
Alfalfa found his forever family with a couple and their 11yr old child who were looking for a nice little family dog.  Alfalfa was a great fit for them and is settling in nicely. He is lovingly called Alfie now
Tibblet is adopted and  so happy in his new home.  A caring woman knew that she had the quiet home for Tibblet and he was just the dog she was looking for.  He is named Tibby now.  He is doing great!
Jane found her best fit with a woman who was looking for a dog to be her best friend and companion.  She knew she could offer Jane the quiet and calm home that she needed.  Jane is thriving in her forever home and is dearly loved
Buckwheat joined the home of a couple and their small dog as they were looking for a second dog to love.  Buckwheat was a great fit and settled in well.  He is happy and fun and trying not to pester his older brother too much! HA!  He is called Henry now and is greatly loved
Dot went from living a life roaming alone, seriously injured, in northern Manitoba to now living the good life as a cherished family pet.   Dot found her forever family with a couple who were looking for a second dog to love and be a nice companion for their current dog.  Dot was a great fit and she settled in nicely.  
Ladybug went off to Toronto to live her best life with a couple who were looking for a puppy to love and join their family. A big fan of St Bernards they were so excited when a family member told them of Ladybug whom they met at a public meet and greet. They learned more about her in her bio and sent in an app!  It was definite love at first site. This social and confident pup will thrive in the big city and we knew that this was a great match.  Ladybug is thriving and is definitely loved
Hayes went to join a young couple who were looking for their first dog together. Hayes being an easy dog was a great fit for them. Hayes is doing well and looks forward to his training classes starting in June!
Cherie was adopted by a fantastic couple who were looking for a little dog to love.   They met Cherie and knew she was the one they were looking for.  Cherie was happily adopted and is called Lumi now. She is settling in well and is very happy

 

Becca found her happily ever after with a woman who was looking for a sweet dog to love.  She met Becca and knew that this was her dog.  Becca agreed and was very happy to be adopted by her.   Becca is called Luna now. She has settled in well and is a happy dog!
Anya came all the way from Manitoba to start her rescue journey and ended it in Woodstock with a great family to call her very own!   Anya had a rough start to life, coming to us with a broken hip but we got her fixed up and she is thriving!  Anya is loving her new home and family and her family just adores her.  
Lemon calls Georgetown home now as she was adopted and is now a beloved dog of a man and his daughter.   They were looking for a gentle dog who would make a great companion for the preteen daughter and Lemon was a great match.  She is settling in great and is very loved by her family
Hopper has found her happily ever after with a woman who was looking for a little dog to love.   She knew that she could offer Hopper a quiet home to thrive in and she sure is thriving.  Hopper is called Poppy now.  She is greatly loved and never has to worry about anything ever again.  This dog has it made!
Helga found her forever home with a woman and her mother who were looking for a kind and sweet mature dog to love. They met Helga and new that this gentle giant was the perfect dog for them.  Helga is happily settled in at home. She is called Maggie now and is doing fabulous in her obedience classes!! Making her new mom proud
Stevie has found her happily ever after with a family who were looking for a small, hypoallergenic dog to love.   They found Stevie’s posting and were certain that this dog would be a great fit for them.  When they met her this was solidified, everyone knew that this was a great match!!! Stevie was happily adopted and is settling in great.  Her name is Steffie now.  She is a total daddy’s girl and is adored by her family
Pancake is happy to announce that she was adopted by a great couple who were the perfect fit for this timid dog. They have a senior Lab who is a great companion for her and is helping her settle in.  Pancake is called Bella now.  She is doing well and her new family tells us that they feel that Bella likes it there, and they sure do like her too!!
Mook met her forever family at a public meet and greet event. She wasnt quite ready for adoption at that time but they waited for her and when she was posted for adoption they applied right away, fully knowing that this was the dog for them! Mook has happily settled into her home and is transitioning well. Her new family loves her a lot and she is a very happy dog!
Romy was a popular dog but she needed a special home as she was a shy dog who needed a quiet, adult only home with another dog in it as this was what was best for her. We were thrilled when a couple who met all the needs of Romy came to our public even to meet her. They were really taken by her and a subsequent official meet only solidified that we all knew that this was Romy’s forever family.  We are happy to say that she is nicely settled in and doing great!
We are happy to announce that Edith has found her most ideal forever home. Edith has joined a family of a couple and their 2 mature Pugs who knew that they had room in their hearts and home for a special needs dog.  Having had a dog with similar disabilities to Edith they were well versed in doggie mobility issues, already were established with a physio vet, and they had no qualms at all managing her needs.  Edith has settled in really well and is amusing her family daily with her goofiness and charm. Edith is very loved and has it made!!
Rue was adopted to a couple who were looking for a dog that would be a great companion for them and live peacefully with their cat. Rue was what they were looking for and we are happy to say that she is settled in very nicely.  She and the cat are learning to live together well, it always takes time when cats are involved, but the couple were patient and things have worked out well. Rue is called Ruby now and her family loves her
Nooch found his adoptive home with a couple who were well experienced with Golden Retrievers and could manage the needs of a blind boy which was great for this senior dog
Lindy found her happily ever after with a couple who love the BMD breed and jumped at their chance to adopt Lindy. She settled in so well and has recently accompanied them to the cottage and is having a great time. Her name is Maverick now and she wants everyone to know she is doing great!
Fern has found her most perfect family with a couple who had been keeping tabs on her right from the start of her rescue journey with us.  They followed every post and came to see her at a public event and knew that this was the dog they had been waiting patiently for.   They were a great fit for Fern and we are happy to say that she is doing great in her new home and her family adores her.
Dina found her best fit in Kitchener with a couple who were looking for a dog to love. They knew that a Cocker Spaniel was a breed that would suit their home, energy level, and had the temperament they were looking for and when they found Dina posted for adoption felt that she was the dog for them. The meet solidified this and we all knew that this was a great match. Dina is called Dala now and is settling in so well
Sebastian has found his happily ever after with a couple who were looking for a second small dog to love.  Sebastian was of great interest to them and they felt that he would be a great fit for them and their current dog. We agreed and it was a love connection right away. Sebastian is named Reggie now. He is doing really well and loves his new family
Iggy is a teeny tiny 7mth old Toy Poodle who came to us all the way from a Quebec shelter where he had been surrendered with an unrepaired break in his leg and needed a surgery specialist to fix him so we stepped up to help him. Iggy has found his happily ever after with this family and a couple Min Poodle brothers and he is greatly loved.  He is set for an amazing life and will be very well cared for
Harold had found his happily ever after with a Cocker loving couple who were looking for a sweet dog to love.  They were charmed by Harold’s good nature and knew he was the dog for them.   Harold has fit right in and is loving his life with his new family.   They have discovered that he adores baths and is the happiest boy ever.  They say that if he could be cuddled 24hrs a day he would love that!!

Donna found her home in Waterloo with a family who love the Golden Retriever breed and were looking to add another to the home.  They were wanting a mature dog and when they saw Donna posted were sure that this was the dog for them.  Donna has settled in well. She is called Daisy now.  She loves her family and her Golden Retriever sibling and is a very happy dog
Cadence found her forever home with a couple and their Cocker who were looking for a second Cocker Spaniel to love. They met Cadence and everyone knew that this was a perfect match.  Cadence has settled in very well and has started obedience school already.  She is named Isabelle now, affectionately called Izzy, and is very loved
Wiser found his best fit with a couple who are true Beagle lovers and were looking for a Beagle puppy to love.  They were willing to manage his special needs and offer him the best life they could.   Wiser is named Shiloh now and is truly loved
Zeb found his best fit with a couple and their dog who were looking for a second dog to love.  Zeb (black dog on left) ticked all the boxes of what they were looking for in a dog and when they met him it was obvious to all that this was a perfect match.  Zeb is settling in really well and loves his new little sibling.   He is called Sebbie now (short for Sebastian) and is flourishing in his forever home.
Wendy found a wonderful home with a couple who have a lot of time and love to give a dog.  Wendy caught their eye and they knew after meeting her that this was the dog for them.  Wendy is nicely settled in and is loving her life with her family.  Her new mom told us “She loves her walks and loves us, as we love her”   

Teeter found his perfect fit with a woman who was looking for a little pup to love.   She met Teeter and knew that this was the puppy for her!  He fit right in and has brought a lot of fun and joy to her home.   She is absolutely loving her little puppy
Poe was happily adopted to a woman looking for a ShihTzu puppy to love. She wasn’t bothered by Poe’s vision impairment and knew that she could offer him the steady home that he needed.  Poe is called Joe now and he is a greatly loved little pup who is doing wonderfully
Judith found a great home with a woman who was looking for a dog to love and knew that she could offer Judith the calm and quiet home she needed.  Judith has settled in well and is enjoying her new home and neighborhood.  Her new mom told us “She is the sweetest and most lovable girl and I am lucky to have her”
Ciri found her happily ever after with a family who love Shepherds and were looking for a dog to love again after the passing of a beloved pet. Ciri was very appealing to them and the bond she would have with the daughter was evident right from first meeting. Ciri has settled in well and absolutely loves her girl.
Amelia found her best fit with a Cocker Spaniel loving family who were looking for another Cocker to love and be a companion to their current dog.  Amelia caught their eye and a love match was made at the meet.,  Amelia has settled in well and is very loved by her family

Zephyr (now Kevin) has found his forever home with a family of four who are thrilled to have such a sweet, silly pup join their family. In addition to having two human siblings whom he adores, Kevin is endearing himself to the younger of the two family cats.
Dwayne is very happy to announce that he found his forever family!! He is now a beloved member of a family with teen kids who had previously loved a St Bernard X and knew that they were ready to open their hearts to another again. Dwayne caught their eye when he was posted and he ticked all the boxes of what they were looking for. Dwayne is happily living in a rural area with plenty of sticks to carry around and some great room for ball play!
Nitro would like to announce that he was home all along!! His foster family has made it official and adopted him!  We are beyond thrilled as we all knew this was the best family and home for him ever.

Triscuit got the happy ending to her rescue story.  Once a scared dog in an overcrowded pound, she is now an adored little princess who has only happy times ahead.  Triscuit was adopted by a couple who were looking to love a dog again and were drawn to her cute photos and the bio that described exactly what they were looking for in a dog.  When they met her they knew that this was their dog!  She is named Tryana (pronounced “tree-ana”) now and has settled in really well
Morty is a very lucky dog and found a great forever home where he is so loved!  Morty is now the cherished pet of a couple who were looking for a smaller dog to join their family.   Morty caught their eye and when they met him they knew that this was their dog!  Morty is very happy in his new family and new home and is now a bilingual dog learning his commands in english and spanish!  Smart boy!
Mireille found her perfect fit with a woman who was looking for a little dog to love and knew that she could offer Mireille the quiet and calm home this timid dog needed.  Mireille has settled in beautifully and is even able to come to her new mom’s work a couple days which she is taking well too.  She is adored and has a great life ahead of her
Lilibet found her happily ever after with a couple who were looking to add a second dog to the home.  Their current dog was a senior and needed a specific temperament and energy level in a new companion.  Her family looked for a dog that would be a great fit and Lilibet was the one.  She is named Betty now and has settled in really well. She and her new furry sibling bonded quickly and are good buddies
Liam found his forever home with a woman and her adult son who were looking for a small dog with a lot of personality…and they certainly found that with Liam.   He took to his new family very well and is doing great in his new home
Brodie found his forever home with a couple who were looking for their first dog together.  They did a lot of research prior to and knew what they wanted and what breeds suited them best and when they saw Brodie posted for adoption and that he was an easy dog, well suited for a first time adopter, they were eager to apply for him.  Brodie took to them well and he was eventually adopted.  He is named Rocky now and is very loved
 
 
 
Barnaby is one lucky hound!  He found his happily ever after with a woman who adores Beagles and was specifically looking to love a Beagle again. She came across Barnaby’s posting and knew that he was the dog for her. Barnaby agreed and he was really happy when his adoption day came. He has settled in really well and his new mom loves him so much
Apple found a loving home where she is adored and she is super happy. She has settled in really well with a woman and her teen daughter who knew that Apple was the dog for them when they saw her posting. Meeting only solidified these feelings!! Apple is called Poppy now and she is doing great!
Merlot is one of the Retriever/Collie puppies we had in our care.  We had an alum family who’s PDR dog sadly passed away and they were looking to have the love of a dog in the home again.  We knew how great this family was and what an amazing home and family they provide for a dog so we had them meet Merlot and it was love at first sight,  Merlot has been named Sadie now. She is doing great in her new home and his very much loved!!
Carlos is happy to report that he is very loved and has found his forever home with a couple who were looking for a sweet little dog to dote on.  Carlos was exactly what they were looking for and they were so happy to welcome him into their home. He is doing great and getting a lot of cuddles!
Coraline found her ideal home with a woman who could offer Cora the quiet and calm home environment that she needed.  Cora is quite taken with her new mom and is following her around the home, cuddling with her on the couch , and all around bonding with her which is what Cora so needed and wanted.  We are so happy to have been able to find Cora the best fit!
Ernest the poodle is happy to report that he found his happily ever after with a PDR alum family who were looking for a companion for their dog Rosie.   They met Ernest at a meet and greet event and felt that he was the dog they were looking for.  Ernest loves his canine sister and has settled in nicely.  He is named Ted now
Scooter the Poodle is jumping with joy at his excitement to announce that he has a new home and loving family!   He also has a fantastic doggie sibling who he loves!  He is doing great and his family adores him. He is called Remi now
Gibbs is very happy to let everyone know that he has found his most perfect forever home. A confident dog who just needs more time to catch up on socialization, we were really looking for a working home for Gibbs because he was very true to his working dog Corgi DNA. We found a couple who are very involved in dog obedience and dog sports and who compete with their current dog, an Australian Shepherd. Having had Corgis before they knew that this was the breed that this was a great choice for them as a second dog. Gibbs is called Percy now and he is settling in really well. We look forward to hearing about his accomplishments in the dog obedience and dog sport world.
Ferguson found his forever home with an alum family who were looking for a companion for Lucy the Golden Retriever.   Ferguson is a happy go lucky, playful sort so he was a good fit!  Ferguson is doing great and is really happy in his new home
 Mama found her forever home with a couple who were looking for a sweet little dog to love. They had other small dogs in the home and knew that they could offer Mama the quiet, calm home that she needs and the other dogs would be great mentors and companions for her. Mama is settling in nicely. She is called Daisy now.
Michele met her forever family at a public meet and greet, They came to meet one dog and ended up falling for Michele! They had the quiet adult home that this timid mill dog needed and it was a great match. Michele won them over at the official meet and she was soon adopted.
 Misty found her happily ever after with a family who were looking for a Cocker Spaniel as a family dog. Misty’s sweet nature made her the perfect fit and her family fell in love with her when they met her. MIsty is called Mabel now and is very loved
Camille is very happy to announce that she found an amazing forever home!  Her family had previously adopted a sweet PDR dog who had passed and were looking for a tiny, gentle companion for their other senior dog.   Camille was exactly what they were looking for and then some!!  Camille is called Molly now. She is absolutely adored and living her best life, fabulously attired!
Tofu found his forever home with a couple who were looking for a  fun pup to love.   They saw the posting for Tofu and knew he was the one for them.  He is named Alfie now and is very much loved. He is keeping his family entertained and they adore  him
Bambi is a darling Chihuahua girl who joined our care after a life in a puppy mill.  Bambi is a sweet natured, friendly pup and took to life in a home very easily.  Her foster mom loved having her and it just so happens that her parents were ready to love a dog again after the passing of their Chihuahua and they got to meet Bambi and get to know her during her time in foster.  When she was ready for adoption it was clear to all that she had found her forever home already!  So nice that Bambi, now Sadie’s, foster mom will still get to see her a lot when she visits her parents!
